Quality Management

The quality management system ensures a persistant high quality and guarantees utmost customer satisfaction – the primary objective of IOT. Quality-related processes and responsibilities are defined as well as chances and risks are evaluated within this system. Periodic evaluation of chances and risks allows for a timely recognition of required measures. Through implementation of these measures, research and development works are improved sustainably.

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

The quality managements system of IOT, introduced by Prof. Lugscheider, was initially certified according to DIN EN ISO 9000 and is now certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Its scope of application covers the three main focuses of research and development of IOT: Thermal Spray, Brazing and Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).
